??forbiddin comparison between pointer and integer??

Hey this is just a quick question could someone tell me whats wrong with this code -

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. char input[10] = "2/3";
  2. char input2[10];
  3. int i = 0
  4.  
  5. while ( input(i)  !=  "/" ) {
  6. input2(i) = input(i);
  7. i++;
  8. }
  9.

Well, first off, you need to use [] when working with arrays, not (). That goes for accessing elements as well as declaring sizes. Also, using double quotes means you're actually comparing that character to a string. Use single quotes instead.
