Can not fix error - C++

3
I have written a Dev-C++ program that needs to read and write to and from files, also it needs to use the goto function to jump to different parts of the program, after I finished writting the program there were 2 problems I cannot fix
the first error comes when I write something like this:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. if (input = 'N') {
  2. goto  Next;
  3.  }
  4. ofstream file(file.txt, ios::app);
  5. Next:
  6. ...
  7.
note: this is just a segment of the program.

It gives me an error that says:
5. jump to label 'Next'
2. from here
4. crosses initialization of class ofstream 'file'

I have written other program that do this but do not give this error.

The second error is:
(using the example program above)
5. label Next comes before binding contour

If anyone can help -Thanks

Please, please don't use goto. Your problems will disappear. Anything written with a goto can be written without it.

Like:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. if (input == 'N') {
  2. (code under Next)
  3. }
  4. ...
  5.

Exactly. You can also use the switch statement.

For loops you can use break, continue, and next to control how the loops are executed.

All of these techniques are better than gotos.

As for your problem, it looks like one of your gotos has crossed two scopes of control. Scope is defined by things like { ... } and other mechanisms. I believe crossing these boundaries with a goto breaks the C++ mechanisms for creation and deletion of objects. You really don't want to mess with this.
