I have multi-page tiff files. I need to extract individual frames from the
multi-page tiffs and save them as single-page tiffs. 95% of the time I
receive multi-page tiffs containing 1 or more black and white CCITT4
compressed files (frames) inside the tiff. Every now and then I receive a
mixture of black and white CCITT4 and JPEG compressed...

hi ng,
I have a question concerning image processing in .NET: How can I open a jpeg
with a tiff-header in c# (which means the file has the extension .tif, but
contains jpeg-compressed data)? When I try to open the image the usual way,
e.g.: Image img = Image.FromFile("thefilename.tif"), I get an error ("not
enough memory"). This meaningful...

Hi
Wonder if someone has some words of wisdom.
I have a access 2002 form that contains 2 graph objects that overlay each
other and would like to export them as a JPEG to use in a presentation. I
can do this individually for each graph but this does not help me as I need
both on the same JPEG. I thought I would try an export the form that...

I want to convert one bitmap file to another one.
For example load as bmp and save as jpg.
The loading part is simple I do this:
Stream BitmapStream =
File.Open(sSrcFile,FileMode.Open,FileAccess.Read,FileShare.None);
Bitmap imgPhoto=new Bitmap(BitmapStream);
iPixelsX=imgPhoto.Width;
iPixelsY=imgPhoto.Height;
BitmapStream.Close();

Could someone critique my code? I have no Python programmers in my
office to show this to. The script works OK, but should I do it
differently? I especially don't like how I check to see if jpegs exist.
The style may not be acceptable to some, but I'm concerned with
substance, not style. Is...

Hello again
I'm still wrestling with Python / Tkinter / PIL. I have almost got it
to work - on a Fedora Core 1 system I can now display images in a
Tkinter window. But I also run a Fedora Core 3 system, and when I
tried the same procedures I get the following errors:-
$ python pil_jpg.py
Exception in Tkinter callback
Traceback (most...

Hello All.
I'm trying to create jpegs out of data that is stored in a binary blob
format in an RDBMS (MS Access). I've tried writing the jpeg directly:
while not rs.EOF:
op = file(imgdir + "\\" + pic,"w")
print >op, rs.Fields.Value
##where rs.Fields.Value is the data in the blob from Access.
When I try to write out this file, the jpeg...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
