2 New Member
Hi,

I have a doubt in C++ where my method setlocale which is passed with two parameters LC_ALL and data_file_locale string for Portuguese locale is failing and returning NULL…
What might be the probable reasons… Can you please let me know…???

Is your data_file_locale string correctly formatted??

A NULL return using LC_ALL make me suspicious of your locale string.

Yes... the data_file_locale is formatted properly...
setlocale( LC_ALL , PT_BR.UTF-8 ) is the way method is called...
Please let me know what might be the other reasons...

setlocale( LC_ALL , PT_BR.UTF-8 );
Shouldn't that be:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. setlocale( LC_ALL , "Portuguese" );
  2.
??
