Load file into shared memory using IPC

Can anybody here suggest me whether loading an XML file directly into a shared memory is possible through IPC or should i parse the XML file and load the contents into an structured array and load it into memory...

I am sure it is possible...But you have to ask yourself what would be easier to do: have each program using IPC parse the XML whenever they want to use it, or have the program which is originally loading the XML parse it for them.
This isn't as straight-forward as it sounds; depending on the type of programs you are working on, you may want to keep in in XML for quick retrieval.
