set focus to the desktop window ??

Hy all,

I have one application that runs on the windows logon using remote
desktop connection. The problem is that i want to lose the focus
somwhere and put it on something else, doesn't matter on what, just to
lose it from the windows that appear there. I try to get the desktop
window and set the focus on it, but it doesn't work. Have you another
ideea to do this ??
Kind regards,
Cosmin

This is off-topic here. In comp.lang.c++, we discuss only the C++ language
itself, which doesn't deal with "windows logon", "remote desktop
connection" or "focus". Ask in one of the many newsgroups about Windows
programming.

Hello, I'm trying to get a popup to keep focus when it is re-clicked. The script below is supposed to produce this exact behaviour, however it doesn't work, at least on firefox 1.0.7 and moz 1.7.12 (linux kubuntu). It does work with konqueror. It seems to work with firefox on windows but not with IE (not completly sure though).
