C/C++ code productivity

5 New Member
Hi,
We want to set some benchmark value for C/C++ programming as part of our process imporvement initiative. Please guide if there are any industry standards or some source from where the figures can be sought.

Thanks.

Hi,

I think productivity doesn't depends on number of lines.

Somewhere between 0.3 and 10000 depending on the project and how you are generating the code.

Sounds to me like someone is asking the wrong questions.

There is something published somewhere about this, I just don't recall where. Perhaps the C++ FAQ? or the C Faq?
