Beginner question about strcat

1 New Member
is there an easy way to add a char onto the end of a char*

I tried using strcat, but says the second argument has to be a char* and when I cast it, I get warnings then I get a segmentation error when I use it.

Thanks

Post the problem code. It sounds like what you are passing in isn't an actual "char *" typed variable.
