Oh, fair enough. I'd overlooked that explanation. I see that what you've
described is basically a form of interprocess communication in a multi-threaded
Usenet environment. Since some of the people here are apparently on the ANSI
committee, this could spell good things for the C language. I encourage them
to continue.

FWIW, I'd like to signal to everyone here that I've stopped reading
J. K. Rowling.
