Hello again,
I have now several consecutive forms in my site which nicely pass variables
in POST, so they won't show up in the header.
Now I have a page people reach after submitting all kinds of information,
from where I offer a link users can click on.
Let's say I have collected several strings and I have put these in an array
and serialized that.

I'm porting an old project to use .NET. When I try to link in a static library (.lib) that has a single managed class in it. I get the following errors:
LINK : error LNK2020: unresolved token (0600000E) PatInfo::.ctor
LINK : error LNK2020: unresolved token (0600000F) PatInfo::Finalize
LINK : fatal error LNK1120: 2 unresolved externals
I've striped everything out of this library except for the single class which has an empty constructor...

i have a bunch of strings used in my code in many places.
these strings reside inside a instantiable class.
so, i want to replace these with constant/static variable to control
the occurences.
i have been looking at both static and const variables as the options,
but couldn't decide on one.

Hi,
Sorry for the bad subject, but i couldn't figure a better one.
I would like to understand why a variable declared non static in a
header causes multiple symbol definitions (if included in different
compilation units) while the same declaration in a namespace does not.
Also, what is the correct way to declare a scoped variable in a
header ? Using extern and declaring it in a separate compilation

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
