*" As a feather floats by, lonely lies silent "*
Yet even while seen through the eyes of many...
Still lying lifeless on 45th an Broadway last night in
Time square
America's Big Apple...
As if like a flash back it accrued to me.
Who would know in the dark of night that through the Forest flew a
black bird
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P85LoHftEKs
that died that night ?
GOD would...
So as like any good Samaritan would do I picked up.
That life less little Bird left there lying amok in the middle of
the road ,and walked it to the curb.
While in the background all I heard was this peaceful musician
playing
songs from the heart of our home land.
Those flutes a flaring fluently through the air last night.
I walked upon a clear ROSE bag. And as i bent down to pick it up all
I saw were a flock birds swarming to find rest.
Right then and there on top of the Virgin music store sing there in
time square.

* In seeing that it accrued to me

Just how many birds I saw daily flying by my tent every night while
my
stay in the Virgin Islands " The Dark Mountain "
The place I called Home for seven months this year.
Bet they saw what I was doing and wanted to perch there quickly , to
see just what I would do at that point in time.
locating a trash receptacle was easy for there was one right there
in front of my path as I crossed the street.
Gently as I laid the life less bird in to it's new place...
I saw all the birds take off at once , as that musician played on an
on an all right there. In to the late of night.
The wonder of aha and the joy it can bring...
To View the Mountain in the VIRGIN Islands were I saw so many birds:

I've never needed it before but now I do! Does anyone know if you are able to perform a NOT Like search using Classic ASP ADO? i.e. myData.Filter = "Ref NOT LIKE '*1234*'" by the way this doesn't work!! and neither does myData.Filter = "Ref <> LIKE '*1234*'"

I find myself wishing I had a syntax "LIKE ANY (array)". I don't see much value in the = ANY, = ALL, <> ANY, <> ALL syntax since they're equivalent more or less to IN and NOT IN. But it could be neat if other operators were supported. As it turns out this isn't immediately relevant, it will only be relevant when one day the database drivers use the binary FE protocol and support binding arrays directly. Then I could pass an...

I've seen on some websites that email address are "hidden" and protected from "spam bots". I've inquired how this is done in HTML and ASP newsgroups, but nobody seems to know... or answer. This is probably not the right newsgroups either, but can someone point me in the right direction (or if they know) advise how this is done? Thanks,

Hey guys: What can I do when an "Error Creating Control" is displayed on the form (instead of the control), and a tooltip indicating the error never is displayed? Is there some log, some hidden message, some entry in registry where a log is created (or that enables a log, trace, dump or whatever)... I'm a little bit frustated with this error :-( Tks, Ravi.

Hello, I would like to use variables with a type in jscript.NET. I declare them as follows: var x : double = 5.03; This doesn't work in my script, that I write to the page in codebehind with "registerClientScriptBlock" as follows: string script = "<script language=jscript>"; script += "function test()";

Hi, Is there a way to do a "text" (rather than "binary") compareison with the "like" operator, without changing the global "Option Compare" setting? I don't want to risk breaking many, many lines of functional code just to get one "like" operation to behave as I wish. I want to check whether a single-character string is (a letter or number, INCLUDING diacritical letters) or whether it is (something else.)

Just tried Ruby over the past two days. I won't bore you with the reasons I didn't like it, however one thing really struck me about it that I think we (the Python community) can learn from. Ruby has ... an issue with docs. That is to say, there are almost none. Well, actually, there are some. For example, the "PickAxe" book (google it), and "Why's" Poignant Guide. But there's a disturbing lack of *built-in* docs for Ruby. Now, the...

I understand what a unit test is. No problem there. What I'm wondering is what, specifically, do most of you more experienced developers mean by "writing" a unit test. Am I correct to believe that you are referring to some way you *document* your tests? If yes, can you provide some example? Given the huge amount of unit tests that go on with any non trivial application dev project I'd like to think that there is some standard template...

I need to build a sql string that looks like this: strSql = "Select * from tbl1 Where x In (123,456,789)" or strSql = "Select * from tbl1 Where x In (123,456,789,527,914)" The numbers represent RecordID's from rows I will select from a datagridview. I tried storing these values in an arrayList, and even a string array and tried this:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
