Hello, in my coding work I'm going to using a lot of matix manipulation, just basic matrix addition, multiplication, Gaussian method solving for roots, least square... But I don't know if there's a library which defines matrix and its manipulation. I know there must be one and it's somethere but I just have no experience. Thanks.

Does anyone know of a decent (free/easy to use) C++ library for manipulating matrices and caculating eigenvalues, eigenvectors and so on? I intend to add some Principal Component Analysis functionality to some software. Any recommendations appreciated.

Hi, I've made a program from numerical recipes. Looks like I'm not allowed to distribute the source code from numerical recipes but it shouldn't even be necessary to do that. My problem is that I'm not very experienced with pointers, pointers to pointers and the like and I got 4 compiler warnings + I don't completely understand how to build this "compact matrix" (see later).

Hello NG, I'm using Numerical Recipes in C++. Now I'm looking for a routine to calculate the eigenvalues of a matrix with *complex* valued entries. The matrix type is Mat_IO_CPLX_DP. So far, I've just found the routines

Greetings groups! I am a rank novice in both C programming and numerical analysis, so I ask in advance your indulgence. Also, this question is directed specifically to those familiar with Numerical Recipes in C (not C++), in practice or at least in theory. I have taken an interest in the the least-squares SVD alternative to the Remes algorithm offered in section 5.13 of NR, 2nd ed. (see here,...

Hi, I developed a custom Matrix class derived from custom VC++ doubles Array class derived from a RealArray which is defined as: typedef CArray<double, doubleRealArray; Now I need to convert this custom Matrix class to standard doubles Matrix (VC++) as I am passing it to some function that understands only the standard class.

Hi, I've developed a C program which contains a large number of vectors and matrices operations. Throughout my code, I used the template from the Numerical Recipes book to define vectors and matrices and access their elements. For example, to define a vector I used the function: my_vector=vector(0,n-1); Which actually allocate the memory as follows:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
