You seem to be unaware of the xslt processing which uses the built-in rules in the absence of templates that match some selected node. http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt#built-in-rule According to the XSLT processing model: http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt#section-Processing-Model the root node will be processed by a built-in rule, because you do not

Hi, I'm programming a WinForm application. I would like to enter commands that will send output that will help me to locate bugs in the future. I know that there is a way to send output by using the Console.Write command. The question is how can I see the outputs in the client machine ? Is there a specific programm to do it or Can I use the prompt window ?

I'm adding this as it to me a while to figure out all the pieces to be able to do this without using Microsoft.Office.Interop which caused me problems on the web-server. Streaming is the easy part, but I couldn't initially work out how to manipulate the page setup to change page margins and orientation, that's why I was looking at Microsoft.Office.Interop. But with Microsoft.Office.Interop I couldn't fiure out how to stream HTML...

Hi, I'm using the DAAB Ent Lib (Jan 2006) for .NET 2.0, with VS 2005 Pro. My project is a Web app project (using the WAP add in). Background: I'm creating a survey system for our company, for which invites will target selected personnel among our customers via email. Each email will provide a custom hyperlink for each respondent using a SQL generated GUID value in the querystring. The GUID will be checked for validity before the user...

Hi, This is seriously driving me crazy, could anyone explain to me why neither of these doesn't produce XHTML compliant output (it is being called in Render() btw): output.WriteLine("<img src=\"" + vars + " />"); output.AddAttribute(HtmlTextWriterAttribute.Src, (string)vars); output.RenderBeginTag(HtmlTextWriterTag.Img);

Hi, I'm writing a program which imports an external module writing in C and calls a function provided by the module to do my job. But the method produces a lot of output to the stdout, and this consumes most of the running time. My question is, is there a way to depress the output produced by the function and hence make my program run faster? It's too complicated for me to modify the source code and recompile the external module.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
