JPEG file handling using C language.

1 New Member
Hello,

I want to know abt some basic operations such as
1) copy a JPG image from one location to another/same location using
C language.
2) Add the Status information to an existing image then separate the
image and status from the image using C.

Can any one help me regarding this ..
thanks in advance.

Hi all. Handling files is an extremely frequent task in programming, so most programming languages have an abstraction of the basic files offered by the underlying operating system. This is indeed also true for our language of choice, Python. Its file type allows some extraordinary convenient access like: for line in open("blah"): handle_line(line)

Has anyone built PIL (1.1.4 or 1.1.5) for Python 2.4? If yes, please let me know, since I can't test a couple of my apps using PIL with 2.4 . You can even reply by email (yes, I dare use true email in newsgroup postings, but then, I'm postmaster and welcome spam :) TIA -- TZOTZIOY, I speak England very best, "Tssss!" --Brad Pitt as Achilles in unprecedented Ancient Greek

Hi Wonder if someone has some words of wisdom. I have a access 2002 form that contains 2 graph objects that overlay each other and would like to export them as a JPEG to use in a presentation. I can do this individually for each graph but this does not help me as I need both on the same JPEG. I thought I would try an export the form that contains both but I am having trouble. Greetings all, As a newbie, using Access 2000, I would appreciate advice on the best way to include pictures. I have developed a 'Home Inventory' database which can include jpeg thumbnails of my items and I can review things at anytime - on the desktop where I created all this - no problem so far. I networked the mdb file (only) across to my laptop and found the pictures don't show. So I guess my database table is only storing links to

Hi all! I'm searching for a (small) free library for handling JPEG's. Especially I want to load one JPG figure and just rotate it. I have seen the 'Independent JPEG Group' in the Web, but their lib seemed a little overcharged for me. I didn't take a closer look on it yet. Before that I want to ask, if someone of you knows of small and free jpeg libs?! (Also other lib's like for C++ or perhaps Fortran would be interesting, but

Hi, I'm using PHP 4.4.4 on Apache 2 on Fedora Core 5. PHP was installed using Apache's apxs and the php library was installed to /usr/local/php. However, when I set my "error_reporting" setting to be "E_ALL", notices are still not getting reported. The perms on my file are 664, with owner root and group root. The php.ini file is located at /usr/local/lib/php/php.ini. Any ideas why the setting does not seem to be having an effect? ...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
