Hai Colleagues,
I am using Tomcat 4.1.24 and JDK 1.4.0_03 in my winXP machine. I've

folders bob, sue in my server.xml(in the context path).
When i am trying to run jsp files from my browser, it works fine. But,
the following jsp files reports some exceptions which is quite hard to
understand. Here is...

Compiler: msvc 7.1
AppType: console
OS: WinXP Pro
I now get this "Internal Compiler Error mscl.cpp line 2701" message when I
build a specific project and cannot figure out why.
It was compiling fine, then I changed a resource text value and it started
complaining. I changed the code but it didn't matter, it now continually
complains.

Hi,
I have recently re-installed by machine and have started getting this error
message after I compile a solution (in VS2003 using VB).
http://www.cergis.com/OddErrorMessage.html
If I reboot the machine it will run fine without re-compiling. This is
happening with all referenced assemblies not this specific one. I have tried
changing the various permissions on the folders contining the assembly
files. I have had the error appear with...

I've developed an ASP.NET website that runs fine on my local WinXP IIS and on
my server's IIS, both are IIS6.0
The site uses a master page that has the following declaration:
<%@ Master Language="VB" AutoEventWireup="false" CodeBehind="HVOA.master.vb"
Inherits="HVOAWebsite.HVOA" %>
The site will actually be hosted at an external hosting site, specifically
GoDaddy.Com. So I moved the files to their site under a new virtual directory...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
