Hi, there, smart guys!
I have an AMD 64 3000+ based system, with Windows XP Professional on it; I
recently installed Visual Studio 2003 Enterprise Architect; I created a new
C# ASP.NET Web Application project (with only the default blank page) and
immediately tried to start the project - it does not work, showing me the
following stupid error:
Server Error in '/WebApplication1' Application...

If I install Visual Studio 2005 on same machine as VS 2003, will I still be
able to use Vs2003 exactly as before or will the 2005 install do an upgrade
to my 2003 install?

Hi,
I was thinking about joining the MSFT Empower program which includes "5
licenses to Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition".
My question is how do I get the media to actually install the Visual
Studo product? The Empower program comes with all sorts of licenses
to different products, but I don't understand how I get the media to
actually install the programs...

Hi there,
I have one another question on VSS 2005 and VS 2003.
We had few projects built in VS 2003 and we had all of those projects
under the VSS 6.0 until now. But as part of our development environment
up gradation our idea is slowly move few projects from VSS 6.0 to VSS
2005. As a test we did move an ASP.NET project that was built in VS
2003 project (no solution file) from VSS 6.0 to VSS 2005 and the move
was successfully (not...

OK.....I'm new to this whole Visual Studio .Net 2005 thing (and .Net in
general).
I have installed Visual Studio Pro 2005 and thought that a version of SQL
Server 2005 came with it (developer edition?). But, when I try and attach
to the local master SQL Server (using the VS 2005 IDE tools), I don't find
SQL Server or any databases at all.
I can't find any SQL Server interface that would allow me to create
databases either - but there...

I had Visual Web Developer Express 2005 and Visual Studio 2005 installed on
my computer.
Realizing that I did not need Visual Web Developer Express 2005 since I had
VS 2005 I removed it.
My question could this be a possible reason that the ASP.NET configuration
tool is not
working in VS 2005 when I am doing web development? What happens is upon
execution
it just brings me back into the same VS design page from where I executed.

I know this is a *really* stupid question but what the hell is visual
c++? I downloaded it and it doesn't seem to work. It isn't like any c++
compiler I ever saw before and the manual on the Microsoft website did
not improve my comprehension of it at all. How do you compile your
source code with this thing? Is it a compiler at all? Am I crazy?
I know it would probably take too much time to answer my dumb questions
here but if you can...

Hi. I understand Microsoft has VB 2005 Express available for download. I
want to know if there is a standard version of Visual Basic 2005? If it's in
the Visual Studio studio suite, then which one?
I'm just confused with the Visual Studio and .NET lingo. I just want to know
where the latest Visual Basic programming languages are. Thanks.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
