I have no problems authenticating via AD and an ASP page. My question is
this - is there any way to 'reverse' the process?
What I mean is the authenticated state remains as long as the browser window
is open. Is there any .asp command I can provide that will revert the
browser session back to IUSR?
Thanks, as always.

If you pass a C++ object by value as an argument to a function which has
a variable-length argument list (...), the MSVC7 C++ compiler does not
call the object's copy constructor and will not complain if the copy
constructor is private.
1) Is this part of the C++ language definition? What is the thinking
behind it?
2) In any case, how can I catch at compile time any callers that try to

I'm surprised not to find this option under Add>New item, etc. It gives you
an option for a *.rc Resource file, but not a typical .NET resource. If I
add one manually, I don't see any way of specifying it to be an embedded
resource.
Anyone know?
Kind thanks in advance,
Leon

I'm trying to use the VS 2005 March Tech Preview and am trying to adjust
some MC++ to the new C++/CLI syntax. I got a little hung up when I
encountered the below error. Certainly my 'Bentley::Mstn::Element' type
derives ultimately from System::Object. It is a ref class. And upcasting is
always implicit right? So I don't understand why I'm getting this error.
It's happening on my get method:
property Bentley::Mstn::Element^ Item

I have a mixed DLL that "extends" an existing application and works just fine. It makes significant
use of IJW to interact with the native interfaces of the application that it is extending. I would
like to show that such application extensions can have parts authored in other .NET languages like
C#. So I set about rearranging my sample extension to become a multimodule assembly where one
..netmodule was authored in C# and another in...

I'm trying to find a way to add a whildcard application mapping to
aspnet_isapi.dll in IIS programmatically.... been looking into IIS
administrator reference but didn't find the right function to use.
The equivalent GUI steps would be, open IIS, select my
application->properties, app configuration, in whildcard application mapping
type the path to aspnet_isapi.dll.
Thanks,
Jingmei Li

We have a large mixed dll that I can never seem to get to link incrementally.
Below is the console output. For simplicity I've eliminated some stuff that
we normally do when we really link this dll like manifest embedding and strong
name delay signing. Can anyone see anything wrong with my link command?
Or offer some other explanation why I can never get an incremental link out
of it? To test, I'm just touching one of the source files so...

Using Access 2000. I need to group the address by suburb then by street name in my report.
Two major problems here:
1. Unit number has the word "Unit" before number
2. Semi detach house has "a" or "b" after number
Examples of the addresses as below. Address 1 means the first line/field for users to key address in line one, Address 2 means second line/field two for users to key address, normally village, park or street name
eg.1,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
