I have a mixed-language pgm (Fortran and C++) which needs to pass a few
hundred values from C++ to Fortran. One way to do this is to have a
Fortran module and a C++ structure (or class) with an identical data
layout. I have used this idea with no problem, but it necessitates
making changes very carefully to the Fortran module and the C++
structure to keep them "in sync".

I have been working with encryption. And it seems to me that the IV and Key
are the only things you need to decrypt my data.
I can obfuscate, but my program still needs to 'call' the framework objects
in System.Security.Cryptography. And this call can be searched for. Then
using a program like SoftIce or Heapwalker they can examine the object and
its properties (namely the IV and Key). Having that they can break my
encryption.

Based on a prior posting, I've written a function to convert a
recordset to a dataview. The first call to the function for a given
recordset works perfectly, but the second call always returns a
dataview with a count = 0. Can someone explain why and how I might
work around this problem?

I have encoded a string into Base64 for the purpose of encryption. I
then later decrypted it and converted it back from Base64 the final
string returns with four nothing characters.
"pass" what the result should be
"pass____ what the result is where each underline char is a nothing
char.
I am about to write a function that will remove the nothing chars butI

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
