How do I select text boxes & ComboBox to export?

The following is the current code for the export button on my app;

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. private void btnExport_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
  2.         {
  3.             string filename;
  4.             filename = DateTime.Now.Date.ToShortDateString();
  5.             filename = filename.Replace("/", "-");
  6.             filename += ".txt";
  7.
  8.             TextWriter writer;
  9.             if (File.Exists(filename))
  10.             {
  11.                 writer = File.AppendText(filename);
  12.             }
  13.             else
  14.             {
  15.                 writer = File.CreateText(filename);
  16.             }
  17.         }
I'm at a loss as to how I make it select the content of the combo box (cboClient) and the three text boxes (txtBackup, txtAV, txtOther) to export them to the .txt file.

Ideally what I'd like to see in the .txt file is;

<Client>: <txtBackupcontent> <txtAVcontent> <txtOthercontent>

However, I'm stuck as to how to do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
