[rdlc reporting] problems with unicode chars in pdf

Hello,

I have made few reports in rdlc technology. They look and print fine, but if
I export any report to pdf file I have some problems with polish specific
chars:

a. if I open pdf in Acrobat Reader I can't find (ctrl-f) phrases that
contains polish letters,
b. if I copy a paragraph that contains polish chars and paste to MS Word the
text is unreadable: squares instead chars in whole paragraph (not only
polish chars),
c. errors during reading the file by external systems (image setter).

I have tried to use fonts Arial Unicode MS but it hasn't helped.
I have the same issue in VS2005 and VS2008.

Can anybody give me any advice?

Regards,
Grzegorz

Hi,

Sounds like the pdf file is damaged. I think you can try a utility
called Advanced PDF Repair to repair your PDF file. It works rather
well for my corrupt PDF files. Its web address is http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/

Do you suggest that that rdlc reports generate damaged files? :-/
