Port Parity Settings Question

Hi all,

i have this RS232 settings

public static string portName;
public static Int16 baudRate = 19200;
public static Parity parity = Parity.Mark;
public static Int16 dataBits = 8;
public static StopBits stopBits = StopBits.One;
public static Handshake handShake = Handshake.None;

but the problem is that I recive throught this connection messages with
the Parity bit 1 (or Mark) but I need to send messages with the Parity
bit 0 (or Space). How can I do this?

Is there normal to do change the Parity bit to Space each time I send a
message? And change it back to Mark to be ready to recive messages?
