Oracle 8i Backup on a Click of a Button reg.

Dear Friends,

We are using Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition of Windows 2000 Server as
the Backend.

For backup purpose we are using the following command @ command prompt
viz;
c:\ exp scott/tiger file=07-FEB-2007.dmp

Is there any other way for simple backup, so that the user by enter
the date in a text box and by clicking button can do the above
process like shell() used in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.
With Best Regards,
S.N.Ramkumar.
