Visual Studio should not be crashing at design time irrispective of what you
drop on the form. This suggests an ill fated installation. Perform a repair.
If this does not fix the problem, and the problem is not isolated to one
machine, report it as a bug.
If you can give some steps to reproduce the system, some of us can try it
out and provide feedback to indicate if this is machine specific or Visual
Studio specific.

Hi Everyone !
First of all, I use Microsoft Visual Studio Team Edition for Software
Developers (8.0.50727.42).
In a Winform application, I would like to add to a Usercontrol (x) in
an other Usercontrol (y). In the usercontrol x there is already 2
usercontrols, and in the usercontrol y, there is no control at all.
When I drop the usercontrol x on the usercontrol y, Visual Studio crash
and restart. I have retried many times with different usercontrols and
projects and the result is always the same : Crash...
Someone has experienced something similar? There is a workaround ?
Thanks for your help.
Martin
