Hello!
I have a GridView that has another GridView embedded in it. The embedded
GridView has some complex editing features (requiring JavaScript duplicating
drop down lists), so I have to use the OnUpdating event in the embedded
GridView. The problem occurs when I am in the OnUpdating event. Right now,
there are two rows where the GridView controls are embedded. When I update
the upper embedded GridView’s data, the event fires, after all databinding
for both grid’s has been performed, and their respective event fired (I
databind each grid as the parent row is bound) – first sign of a problem.
When I access the sender property, it gives me a GridView that is not even
listed in the trace control listing! I was trying to update the GridView with
latest values, but certainly can’t do that if I’m not even accessing the
right GridView.
What am I doing wrong?
