Console.ReadLine timeout

Is there a way to set a timeout for the Console.ReadLine method?

Yes by using the Timer Class. Please direct your attention to:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...us/cpref/html/
frlrfsystemthreadingtimerclasstopic.asp

1. Display the Console.ReadLine on the console.
2.. Set the time you want the Console.ReadLine accessible on the console
3. After the time you set expires, Console.WriteLine alternative
instructions
4. Continue or close the app.

Thanks,
