Profiling and Tracing an application

Hi. I'm an experienced developer, but new to C# Windows forms.

Is there a way to have C# automatically generate a trace of what events
are firing when? Most languages I've worked with before allow you to
generate a basic trace log. I've only been able to find information
about how I could code Trace and Debug statements. We have huge code
base, so it really isn't feasible to go through the entire application
and add these statements.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Karl
