DragDrop registration failed

"DragDrop registration failed" is the error message I'm getting on
frmTasksInstance.ShowDialog() in the snippet below:

frmTasks frmTasksInstance = new frmTasks();
frmTasksInstance.ShowDialog();
frmTasksInstance.Dispose();

There's no dragging or dropping involved. The same pattern of code works
fine with other forms.

frmNames frmNamesInstance = new frmNames();
frmNamesInstance.ShowDialog();
frmNamesInstance.Dispose();

There are no errors occurring within frmTasks().

Any ideas on why I'm getting this error message and what to do about it
would be greatly appreciated.
