Respond to application startup panels

When a new copy of Microsoft Word is installed the user needs to enter data
into several panels (COA, name, company, etc.) and activate the application.
I am writing test tools that should do this in an automated fashion in a test
lab. This is done to ensure the apps were properly installed. I know how to
launch an application. How does one go about programmatically entering the
data into panels that an application initially puts up when the application
is run for the first time? Any ideas on .NET classes that may help
streamline this?
