Questions when building an ActiveX control in C++.NET

Hello All,

I am in the process of building an ActiveX control in VC++.NET using a
MFC Control Project derived from a Tab Control. Since this is my first
time building such a control, would it be best for me to specify a new
class for myTabControl's specific properties? Another question is can I
use the derived tab control as a container for other controls (static
text, buttons, edit boxes, etc.)?
