Hi!
I have created a custom trace Listener class, called "DBTraceListener"
it works fine when i add it manually in code :
(eg. Trace.listeners.add(new DBTraceListener("myDBListener",
TraceLevel.Verbose, getDBConnection) )
What I'm trying to achieve now is to add this listener via the
MyApplication.exe.config file

I would like to start using EventLogTraceListener, and am running into
a couple of significant limitations:
1) I have found that there is no way to write EventLog entries with
different EventLogEntryTypes. It seems that EventLogTraceListener is
only capable of writing entries with EventLogEventType.Information,
even for Trace.Fail. Is this...

I am trying to make a trace listener textbox that behaves like the
output window in VS, in that it shows trace messages from all trace
sources.
I created my own listener to write to a textbox and added this listener
to the trace.listeners collection but it will recieve messages sent via
the normal trace class.
Messages from other...

I've created a custom trace listener which I'd like to initialize in
the web.config file of my application. I noticed that I can use the

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
