Does anyone know any way of having a vertically aligned text box?

Dave,

If you want a textbox, then you will have to create a textbox control
and do this yourself, as I don't think that there is a standard Windows
control that does this.

Also, labels do not support this either. You would have to create a
custom control for this as well.
