New to Python... trying to figure out how to count the objects in a list
and then map the count to the objects or convert the list to a dict... I
think the latter would be better as I need a number associated with each
entry. Any pointers?
Also, does this bit of code look to be truely random?

He explains how to count objects of a given type. Inheritance is preferred
over containment, but then the "old virtual destructor spiel" comes up. Read
it. Now my silly question is, why is the destructor not declared virtual in
the template?

C++ is a great language. You can instantiate an object on
the stack, grab whatever resources you need, and free them
in the destructor. Object destructors are called in the
correct order (the reverse order), and are guaranteed to
be called when the object goes out of scope.
Unfortunately this is not so in C# (or Java) since you
cannot tell when the Garbage Collector will run. In C#
you can call Dispose (assuming it's implemented),...

I have a multi-form winform database application. The client keeps
complaining that application runs too slow 50% of the time. The problem
seems to be in two areas;
a) app is slow maximising after a prolonged period of being minimised.
b) when user clicks on a toolbar to select one of the several already open
forms.

How can I reset this count? My form is stable now and doesn't have many
controls on it, though obviously it's seen alot of deletions as the form has
evolved and this contributes to reaching the 754 limit.
I have tried exporting to another database and then importing it back with
no luck.
I'm testing an add-on that applies a spiffy effect to command buttons and it
reports the 754 error on this particular form.
