Is there a way to avoid the default action of TreeNode expansion/contraction
caused by double click? I can add an event handler to pop up my properties
dialog on double click, but it has the unintended side-effect of toggling
the expansion of that subtree.

We have a requirement to display all registered file extensions and there associated exe path. I can retreive the registered file extensions using "RegEnumKey" API by enumerating "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT" path. For retreiving the associated executable file path, i have to look in "Shell\Open\Command" registry path for each extension. The exe path will contain other information also (ex: ..\Windord.exe /dde). Is there a simpler way to get the exe path...

I created installer for my application. The extension of document created by application(MDI) is specified in installer. In some situation after installation, when double-click the document, the installer starts repair. But if we drop the file on top of installer it is just starting application. Installer installs some DLLs, data in application folder. What may be the cause for installer repairing when double-click document?

I need a pop up contact form (related contact detail like job title, address, email..ect) when double click on a specific name. This pop up form will not show other contact person but will allow me to do editing or deleting on that specific person that I double clicked only.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
