When I bought my copy of Visual Studio it came with disks to install the
"developer' s edition" of MS SQL. However, while installing Visual
Studio, the Express version was automatically installed and I have been
using the express version with my C# programs.
My question is, what, if any, benefit would there be in installing the
developer's version instead of continuing to use the express version.

Thank you for the fast reply and the link, Arne. That answered my
question perfectly, because I wasn't aware that Developer Edition was
functionally equivalent to Enterprise Edition.

I don't know how much Microsoft is planning to price Visual Web Developer
Express Edition. I heard rumors from free to $100.
In my opinion I think it should make it free. The reason is to attract as
many people to .NET and ASP.NET. This includes people who are in the Linux
world using free IDE's like Eclipse and the people who are thinking of

I downloaded Sql server 2005 express SP2 and attempted to modify the
Bootstrapper package files as I did with SP1
When i try to install SQL server as part of my VS 2005 deployment app I get
an error at the end of the SQL server install phase 'Invalid endpoint'.
