My form uses a dataset containing two tables, a base table
(Contact) and a lookup table (Insurer). My combobox is
bound as follows:
DataSource = datasetContact
DisplayMember = Insurer.InsurerName
ValueMember = Insurer.InsurerId
DataBindings.SelectedValue = Contact.InsurerId

Is there any way to do this on a form in Access 97? If the value of a
combo box is .5, I want two check boxes to be visible (labels are a.m
and p.m.). If the value of the combo box is 1, I want the two check
boxes to be invisible.

Greetings. I have three forms that are open at the same time. They are
related and cascading. The first form (frmEventAdd) is the anchor. Each
event can have many Trials. The second form is frmTrialInfo. Each Trial
can have three Classes. The third form is frmClassInfo. These forms are
used for update and adding new records.
The user displays an event for update (frmEventAdd). Then clicks on a
button to display the Trials for that event...

Code attached but the line that gives me an error is
MyDataGrid.Columns(2).Visible = False
It actually gives me an error for any value instead of 2 even when 9 bound

Hi,
I just cannot get this to work. I want to make a cell editable in a datagrid
only if the value of another cell is something specific.
I am able to capture the value of the other cell via the ItemDataBound event
of the datagrid e.g.
If e.Item.Cells(8).Text = "2" Then

I'm using a ComboBox to display objects of a class I've defined, say CQQ.
Works great except somehow I occasionally set an Item to a String object
instead of an object of type CQQ.
It looks like Text replaces an item or something like that.
This results in a runtime error at which time I learn that the item that
should be CQQ is a String.
