Hi,
I've encountered a weird TrackBar issue, it seems to hang completely when
the TrackBar.Maximum is set to certain large values.. what's going on? Have
tried this on a few different 2000/XP environments and it seems the
behaviour is universal.
Btw, before attempting the test below it's a good idea to make sure you
haven't any unsaved work.. :)

how to design a trackbar/slider with diff. look???
For my win-application I need a trackbar/slider,
that doesnt look like the control-trackbar offered
by vb.net. ; e.g. something like the slider in win-mediaplayer...,
but with my own design.
tried to change the look, and create something that
works like a slider,
but didnt find a solution yet

I use trackbar.Maximum in a timer. Is there any performance difference to
get it via
trackbar.Maximum or first store the value in a int integer and use that?
Or is it cshap internal the same?

Greetings!
We are working on a project that has a bunch of TrackBars spec'ed as graphic
controls. In other words, they are slick looking and green.
In the design phase, these controls look great on the printed page, though
when I try to get the TrackBar to look the way the concept was presented, it
just doesn't seem to let me tweak it.
Can you please tell me what I can do to easily customize the TrackBar

I'm trying to get an aspx page to display a TrackBar. There is no TrackBar in
the System.Web.UI.WebControls. Is there a TrackBar like control in
System.Web.UI.WebControls? If not, is there a way to use
System.Windows.Forms.TrackBar in an aspx page?

I think I'm going nuts... Put a scroll bar control on a form and in the
form_load method, initialise it as follows:
vScrollBar.Minimum = 0;
vScrollBar.Maximum = 10;
vScrollBar.SmallChange = 1;
vScrollBar.LargeChange = 10;
vScrollBar.Value = 0;
vScrollBar.Visible = true;

Hi.
We are developing an application in VS2005 in C#, .NET, that has lots of
tabs. On one of these tabs, there is a horizontal trackbar.
However, we are unable to set the background color of the trackbar to
trasparent.
The best would by transparent . Becouse the tabs are gradiently colored. It
should work on standard windows XP theme.
In that, the color fades from RGB 252-252-254 to 244-243-238.
Why VS2005 says that trasparent is...

I'm working on a video player app, and I want to implement a trackbar
that behaves like the one in Media Player, that is the cursor position
moves to where the user clicked instead of moving in that direction by
a fixed value. Has anyone implemented something like this before? I
haven't found anything on codeproject, or searching the .NET
newsgroups. This seems like it would be a common control type, am I

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
