Hi Jean-Luc,
There are several options for localizing your GUI/app, and the method
to do it depends largely on the scale/size of your application. It
also depends on who will be translating it (a professional translator,
or you yourself?). Could you say something about this concerning your
project?

You might want to take a look at Infralution's Globalizer.NET. It
scans your project's resx files for localizable items (strings,
positions, sizes etc) and allows you to edit them in one consolidated
workspace. It also speeds up the translation process by allowing
your translator to build and run the localized application - without
you having to give them your source code. You can get more

I'm losing icons from a .resx file, and I'm not sure why. I'm adding the
icons using ResEditor (the resource editor that ships unbuilt with VS.Net).
I add the icons, save the .resx file, and all seems well. If I reopen the
..resx file, the icons are there, just as expected.
But after a couple of compiles, the icons are gone. It I reopen the .resx
file, they are no longer there. My code doesn't do anything with the .resx

According to my C# book, I can add a .resx file to my
project by going to the Project menu, Add New/Assembly
Resource File... I want to add 6 icon files, one.ico,
two.ico...six.ico. I got as far as adding the
Resource1.resx file. I now see a table like thing with
the titlel "Data for data". So how do I add my ico files
to this table? I see the xml page. Do I have to manually

and I find I waste a lot of time using the editor in vs.net---the
editing functions are either buggy or else very poorly thought out:
- can't copy-and-paste a line from one set of resources to another
- hitting "shift" while typing a space highlights the whole line,

I'd like to know is there a resource editor one could use to create another

Winres.exe does not work. It reports tons of errors when I try to open the
