Scrolling Multiple ListView controls at once

Hi All,
Not sure how to go about this one. I've got a windows form with five
ListView controls, each listing the files in a seperate folder. What
I want to achieve is this:

When I scroll any of the ListView controls, I'd like the other
ListView controls to scroll to the same position.

I've check, but cannot find a Scrolling or Scroll event on a ListView
control. I thought about catching the MouseWheel event, but this will
only ensure that it will happen if you scroll with the MouseWheel, not
by clicking the scrollbar!

Any ideas on how I can achieve this?

Thanks,
Jarppi

Hello. I have a listview and a listbox. If the listbox gets vertically scrolled, the listview should make the same movement. So I have extended the listbox control: public class ExListBoxScrolling : ListBox protected override void WndProc(ref Message m) {

Hi there, In my application I have a panel that contains a matrix of user controls. The user control is fairly simple. It merely draws a circle that represents an object in my code. The object has certain properties that can be configured, so each control has a context menu that allows such operations. However, my application requires setting properties for multiple objects at once. That would require being able to select multiple...

Hello again, I have a problem that I can't seem to find any help for. I'm probably not typing the correct words into goo... *cough*... MSN. I have created a user control which I would like to use as items in a list. The list would display as many of these controls as I wish to add, scrolling as it needs to. I KNOW this functionality exists already in every list you care to mention but I don't know how to go about making a list...

Hi All Is there a way to have multiple list views created during program runtime in code, which can have objects added, removed and later on the listview itself be removed, whilst keeping the previous listview(s) hidden or disabled under the original ? Thanks

Once a listview is created, it s filled with data loaded from a txt file and then the loop iterates too creat the next listview. My problem is that while I am able to create and fill the listviews, I am not actually able to perform any actions...

Lo que sucede es que en el momento que se añaden los items al ListView se pone todo blanco, cuando se terminan de agregar los items vuelve a su estado normal. Como impido que esto suceda ?. Hi, I have seen loads of different ways to do this, but the all seem to yield the same result - text that doesn't flicker when it's moving too slowly! Does anyone know 'the best way' to make text scroll... eg Override OnPain and OnPaintBackground Override WndProc

Short of writing a custom version of the ListView control, is there a way to force the column headers to contain multiple lines. The problem is that the actual values of the items in each column only need 2 or 3 characters while the description of them in the column title takes many. Thus, my columns end up being needlessly wide. Thanks, Ray

Hi all, Is it possible to do a console like scrolling window in a Windows Form app? The closest I've gotten is to use a RichTextBox and append text to it. However, after a while, there is too much text, I need to clear the textbox - this causes the screen to flash and I lose all prior text. Is there a good method of keeping only X lines in a RichTextBox?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
