Modifying DefaultPageSett ing at runtime for LocalReport -- HELP! --

Rod
I'm using:

Microsoft.Repor ting.WinForms.R eportPageSettin gs pgSettings = reportViewer1.L ocalReport.GetD efaultPageSetti ngs();
pgSettings.Marg ins.Right = 40;
pgSettings.Marg ins.Left = 40;

... to set my page margins for the report, but when I click the page setup, it still shows 100 (1 inch).
Can anyone explain this and offer a solution? I don't want the end users to have to set the margins
each time before printing.

Thanks!

Hi, I have a Report (VB.NET 2005), and I'm using Objects as DataSource. I have the object objCompany, which contains a public property MyAdress (instance of objAdress). objAdress has a propert Street. When I add objCompany as a DataSource, I want to be able to show the Street-property of MyAdress. So I do a drag-and-drop of that property from the Data Sources - Window to the Report. Everything seems fine: I get a

I'm able to pass string parameters with no problems to a LocalReport being displayed by the ASP.NET ReportViewer control. However, my report also has a DateTime parameter. LocalReport.SetParameters(..) only seems to allow me to set string parameters. Is there a way to pass DateTime (or other types) of parameters? Or can I only use string parameters in a LocalReport if I need to pass them in from my ASP.NET app? Thanks, cpnet

Sorry for the cross-post, but I'm not sure what the best place to post this is, and I'm getting a bit desparate. Part of our product uses the SQL Server Reporting engine to create reports in Excel and PDF format. To do this I am using the LocalReport object the Microsoft.ReportViewer.WinForms namespace. This is all running in a web-based service running in IIS. In development and UAT this has worked flawlessly and had been very...

Ok, we are all aware of the situation where modifying the folder structure (adding files, folders, deleting files, etc) will result in ASP.NET triggering a recompilation/restart of the application. In a nutshell, I understand how this can be considered desireable by some, but I am not one of those people. My situation is that we have a root site (hosted @ http://www.mydomain.com) in the root application folder '/'.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
