I have installed VS.NET 2002 on a Win XP Pro system. When I create a new
Windows Forms project I cannot add the Crystal Reports components. The Help
says to Right Click the project and then select Add/Add New Item and then to
choose Crystal Reports. That choice does not appear?
How can I add CR to my project?

I am not sure what newsgroup I should post this question at, because I did
not see a newsgroup for Visual Studio Setup Wizard.
In the Setup and Deployment Projects (Setup Project), how can I include
installation for MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Component) ?
Thank you.

I just tried experimenting.
I checked dotnet in prerequisites and didnt add any files to my setup
project as I found later that the compile finds them from somewhere and
creates a subdirectory called "dotnetfx" to be created at the same place as
my setup file with dotnetfx.exe in there.
I added \dotnetfx\dotnetfx.exe as the InstallUrl...

I've been able to program and run this example without problems.
However,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
