Basically, how do I know that the release versions of all components are
being published?
The Build | Configuration Manager is confusing me a little in VS2005.
I have three projects in my solution:
1) web service website.
2) SOAP Extension Class Lib that compiles to a dll
3) WinForm application with a proxy to test the web service.

I have been given the task of finding ways to use legacy ActiveX controls in
C# applications under Vs2005/Net2.0. At this time I am trying to use a number
of ActiveX controls built with Visual Basic 6. Some we have the source code
for and some we just have the binary. I have been able to add a number of
them to the Vs2005 Tools list but when I drag and drop them to the Windows
Form many entries are made into the autogenerated Cs files that...

Hi,
I'm converting our code base into VS2005 and we have alot of Managed
c++. Problem is, is that for some reason some of our code will
compile, but doesn't run correctly in VS2005. So, as we can continue
moving forward we decided to keep the managed c++ stuff in VS2003 and
just compile them seperatley.
My problem is that when I tried to reference one of our VS2005 dll's is
gave me an error, so I tried to reference several different...

I have moved a project from VS2003 to VS2005 and now all references point to
..NET2.0 libs. How can I change this back to 1.1, but still use VS2005?
I need this for compatibility reasons.
thanks

I haven't yet installed the VS2005 Web Application project type, since I'm
naivly waiting for VS2005SP1 to come out before Duke Nukem Forever.
My VS2005 installation also crashed twice whilst working on a simple ASP.NET
2.0 Website, surely part of "Trustworthy computing" involves me *trusting*
my computer's 1st party software not to let me down. Good thing I save
regularly.
Anyway, it's a simple ASP.NET 2.0 Website with a User Control...

Hello.
I developed a VS.NET2003(VB), ASP.NET web application client program with
..NET Framework 1.1, ASP.NET 1.1, IIS 5.1 and WSE 2.0.
I tried to migrate it to VS 2005 Pro(VB), Web Application Projects, .NET
Framework 2.0, ASP.NET 2.0, IIS 5.1, WSE ?.
Is WSE 3.0 required for VS 2005?

sorry for ma bad english
sorry for maybe a little boring question
but I want to ask if it is possible writing a .net3.0
programs in vs2005. The company I am working in
want to migrate project from vs2003 and .net1.0
to vs2005 and .net2.0 framework but all things are
not clear for me and I have
question - it is not better to migrate to .net3.0
(we have only licenses on vs2005, nothing new)

I have repeatedly tried to install Net2. I keep getting the following error
message. I've looked through the Knowledgebase but can find nothing. It
seems to be related to a Visual Basic problem, but I was unaware that I had
VB on my system! Maybe I do and it needs repair. If so how do I do that?
Here's the error message.
Error 25015. Failed to install assembly
"C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Microsoft.VisualBasic.Vsa.dll"...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
