I am using the evaluation version of CE.NET 4.1.
I had also installed the release version of the Compact
Framework.
I uninstalled the CE.NET 4.1, and then realized I needed
it again and reinstalled it. I also installed all the
QFEs. When I tried to reinstall the release Compact
Framework, I get a message that it is already installed...

CF.NET V2 has a Web Browser control.
1. Will this WebBrowser control work for WinCE 5.0 devices (Built using
Platform Builder, and SYSGEN_IE option, No PocketIE, or HtmlView.dll )? Will
it use IWebBrowser2 ?
2. Will this WebBrowser control work for PocketPC's with PocketIE
(SYSGEN_PIE & SYSGEN_WEBVIEW options, HtmlView.dll) ?
Thanks

I'm asking this here as I have already asked in the dedicated newsgroups but
with no answer. I wonder if there is an answer that is more generally
applicable to VB.NET.
I want to be able to drag an HTML element onto the WebBrowser control and
drop it where the mouse is. I have looked at two options:
<code>
Dim obj As New DataObject
Dim...

I've decided to take advantage of the layout characteristics of HTML
documents to simplify my printing tasks, but of course it's thrown up a
whole host of new issues...
I'm generating a multi page printable document in HTML from my app, and

Hi,
I would like if there is a way to use DrawToBitmap with a WebBrowser control
in Framework 2.0.
In MSDN I found this method is not implemented for this control.
Thanks.

The .NET WebBrowser control in the Compact Framework 2.0 is a major
headache.
Once it takes the focus (e.g. by the user tapping on it) it keeps it
and keyboard events are not passed to the form anymore even though
KeyPreview is set to true.
If there are no other controls on the form we don't get them at all to
start with.
I added a tiny...

Good afternoon,
I was wondering if there is a way you can determine what the security
requirements are of a control. I have an application that throws a
security exception if there is a WebBrowser control on my main form.
The exception simply states "Request Failed". If I remove the
WebBrowser control from the form, it works fine. The...

Hello people. I'm having a Winform app that contains a webbrowser control
that keeps navigating from one page to another permanentrly to make some
tests. The problem I'm having is that after a while, the application is
using more than 100 or 150 Mb in RAM, and if I let it continue, it can leave
the system without memory. I've been watching in...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
