Hello All
In my application I am using TackBar, in past there used to be a controll like Slider. Wtih slider you could graphically show that what section of slider you have selected by fill in colors. Example could be that if you have slide the bar from 1- 10 then there will be a color fill from 1 - 10 where 11 - 100 will not have any fill

For my win-application I need a trackbar/slider,
that doesnt look like the control-trackbar offered
by vb.net. ; e.g. something like the slider in win-mediaplayer...,
but with my own design.
tried to change the look, and create something that

I have a small app which uses a trackbar which I wrote using Visual
C++ 200 Express Beta 2 and would like to have it available as a web
page.
Any ideas on how to do this? Visual Web Developer Express Beta 2 does
not seem to be able to do it ...

I am trying to assess how much work it is going to be to "port" my current

TrackBar DoubleClick event is not accessible via the Control
Properties event pane. So I tried adding the handler directly:
this.ColTrackBar.DoubleClick += new
System.EventHandler(this.ColTrackBar_DoubleClick);
It compiles but never fires. I suspect that individual Click events
are getting gobbled up by the main trackbar position event...

I'm working on a video player app, and I want to implement a trackbar
that behaves like the one in Media Player, that is the cursor position
moves to where the user clicked instead of moving in that direction by
a fixed value. Has anyone implemented something like this before? I
haven't found anything on codeproject, or searching the .NET...

Ok, something that I thought would be easy is giving me fits.
Using .NET 2.0 and C# I've added a Trackbar to a form. Set some values:
trackVolume.Maximum = 100;
trackVolume.Minimum = 0;
trackVolume.TickFrequence = 25;
Then I added an event for the value:

How do I determine whether the Value of a trackbar has been changed by
the user, or changed programatically?
For example, if I set trackbar1.value = 10 in code, then the
ValueChanged event gets fired. This same event gets fired if I move
the slider on the trackbar. How do I distinguish between a user
action and a coding action?
