Reference column data of selected rows in a dataviewgrid

I have a dataviewgrid in my project which the user will select multiple
rows. They will click a button and my program will perform some operation
on the selected rows. My question is, how do I reference the data in the
selected rows. I can get the number of selected rows, but I don't know how
to reference the data in the selected rows.

Thanks,

I retrieve a table with only 2 columns. One is a auto-generated primary key column and the 2nd is a string. When I add a new row to the dataset to be updated back to the database. What should I do with the 1st column ? (Below I have a "1" in place for now). Also, Does the datase.AcceptChanges(); updates the changes to the database? Which command do I use to update the changes in dataset back to the Access database table? Thanks, Alpha...

Can anyone give me hints on how to do this? I need to have a single column in a dataviewgrid whose cells can be set to either a combo box, a text edit or a check box, different for each row of the grid. -- "I have nothing but the greatest respect for other peoples' crackpot beliefs". -- Sam the Eagle.

I have a dataViewgrid in my project in which the user will select multiple rows. The will click a button and my program will perform some operation on the selected records (using the ID column value for each of the selected rows). My question is, how do I loop through the selected rows and reference the ID column in the data grid? I can get the count of selected columns, but I don't know how to reference the data in the rows. Thanks.

I've added a DataGridView and added some columns in the designer, now I want to add some rows with data applied via column name. Having done some web trawling I've ended up with this: private void AddRow(string thing, string thingdesc) { DataGridViewRow row = new DataGridViewRow(); row.CreateCells(MyGrid); // #1 row.Cells.Value = "Add"; // #2 this makes it work MyGrid.Rows.Add(row); ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
