Add Attribute to CheckBoxList ListItem at runtime?

CK
Hi All,
I have an asp:CheckBoxLis t. it is databound to a datatable at runtime;

private void chklstStatuses_ DataBinding(obj ect sender, EventArgs e)

{

chklstStatuses. DataSource = BillingInvoiceU til.GetStatuses ();

chklstStatuses. DataTextField = "StatusName ";

chklstStatuses. DataValueField = "InvoiceStatusI D";

}

I need to add an attribute to each list item,
"onClick=javasc ript:setFilter( this);"

I can not get it to work. I tried two different methods in two different
events, in chklstStatuses_ DataBinding & in chklstStatuses_ PreRender.

I try it like this

for(int x = 0; x != chklstStatuses. Items.Count; x++)

{

ListItem li = chklstStatuses. Items[x];

li.Attributes.A dd("onClick","j avascript:setFi lter(this);");

}

doesn't work and I also tried
IEnumerator chklstEnumerato r;

ListItem li;

chklstEnumerato r = chklstStatuses. Items.GetEnumer ator();

while(chklstEnu merator.MoveNex t())

{

li = (ListItem)chkls tEnumerator.Cur rent;

li.Attributes.A dd("onClick","j avascript:setFi lter(this);");

}

Neither one of these methods renders the attribute. I a compile fine and i
get no runtime or javascript errors in either case. I view the page source
and the attribute just doesn't seem to render.
Can anyone help?

Thanks,
~CK

Hello, I have something really awkward at work - fighting with CheckBoxList... How can I define CSS for ListItem in CheckBoxList programmatically. I add CheckBoxList's Items on the fly, something like dim li as ListItem li = new ListItem("title","value"); '' how to define here the CSS for List Item, not CheckBoxList?!?!?! myCheckBoxList.Items(x).add(li);

Using VS.Net 2k3 to build ASP.Net app with VB code-behind pages... Hi, all! I've been struggling with getting a dynamically-generated CheckBoxList generated. I've finally been able to get the list generated, but now there are two problems I haven't been able to overcome: 1) ASP.Net is munging the checkbox ID/Names of the checkboxes: I give it a name like "myCheckbox" and asp.net is creating the checkboxes with the name...

Hi, I am having a small problem generating an e-mail via an online form. I am creating an e-mail using the MailMessage command and I know that you have to do something special to render the values Checked with a CheckBoxList, but I don't know what to do or how to do it. If anyone could give me an example or send me to a link I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
