Hello all!
I've got a big bunch of pages using tables for layout. Eventually I'll
get them set up with more modernized code, but in the meantime I'd
like to slip in a little quick holiday decoration. I'd like to insert
a table cell with a fixed width (as much as such things can be fixed)
and a repeating garland background so as to show up along the left
side of the table, repeating down its length.
Our site has a couple thousand...

Hello,
I have an HTML question that I'm not sure can be solved. I want to
restrict the maximum size of an inline image.
For example, I can force the image to be 200x200 if I do this:
<img src=blah.gif width=200 height=200>
But, that messes up the aspect ratio, and could size the image larger than
it's original size.

Hello,
I want to insert an image to a specific column of a dataGridWiew. I explain
what I'm doing:
- I define the ColumnType as a DataGridViewImageColumn.
- I select the image (an icon of open folder).
When I accept, in the design form, appears in the ImageColumn the typical
red cross of an image not found.

I'm trying to set images in a bound DataGridView image column. My enum has
three possible values, and I have an image that I want to show for each
value:
EnumValue.OK --GreenLight.gif
EnumValue.Caution --YellowLight.gif
EnumValue.Violation --RedLight.gif
I want to display the graphic, instead of the enum value, in each row of the
grid.

I'm trying (using C#) to put an image (Icon or Bitmap maybe) in the column header cell of a DataGridView. I have no problems putting images in other cells. I do that like this:
myDataRow = icon.ToBitmap();
But how do I put one into the column header cell?
Thanks,
Mattias

When viewing a datatable in a datagridview one of the columns in it is a
"note" field which can be quite long. I would like to have the note
field of the currently selected row of the datagrid display in a textbox
below the datgridview. I currently have it fixed so if you click on a
row the note field from that row is put in the textbox. I'd like this
to be automatic as they move through rows.
Also the note field is one of two fields...

Hi,
I have a small servermanager where it loads up all players that are currently playing a game. The players are divided in blue and red team.
I want to have a small 8x5 (red/blue) image display in a cell in front of the whole row that shows the user which team the player is in.
Is this possible?
I have already added both files to the resources, but, when I use "Resources.*" it turns out I cannot use them that way at all.
how can I...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
