Hi, there is an application running on a remote desktop (under Citrix ICA,
but the same problem applies for RDC or PC Anywhere). Now, I want to send
keys to the remote application from a local app. I tried sending keys in VB
with SendKeys, as well as using keybd_event API, but I'm not able to send
any keys. It works very well for any local applications, but I can't pass
the keys remotely. Is there any way to do it?
Thanks!
Etienne

I've got a very large C# forms app and now that its being used in
bigger environments we're getting a steady stream of "why does it do
this?" problems. The most nagging of which right now is that when a
MessageBox.Show() is displayed, if the user hits enter or esc, those
keys get passed back to the form. From searching online, this is
apparently by design(for whom, I don't know, why its not optional, I
_really_ don't know). This...

I have a lot of forms on our web site that require the user to fill out
information and submit it back to us. currently the information comes back as
name value pair. The our employee's then has to go thru all this code and
fill in a template with the data and print the info out. It would be so much
easier if we could have a button that would access the file/send/page by
email button on IE. Using asp.net 2 the my.computer.keyboard.sendkey...

I'm buidling some simple macro functionality for my app so the users can record a sequence of keyboard inputs and replay them reliably via some menu.
Originally, I used:
protected override bool ProcessCmdKey(ref Message msg, Keys keyData)
To map "Keys" objects to their string constant, and stored them on a string Queue as they were happening. Then (after resetting the form), I simulate replaying of these actions by flushing the queued...

Hi
I am programing in Autocad with VB
Autodesk have not given users access to new note function in Autocad CIVIL3d API. I am trying to work round this by creating notes using the sendkey command in Vb. I can get the add note dialog box to come up ok but it does not have focus as I believe it is a modeless dialog box as it gets focus when you move the mouse cursor over it.
What I am after is a VB eample on how to send key strokes to the...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
