Querystring in startup page......

Hi All,

Can anyone give me the way through which we can give querystrings in
the startup page in visual studio 2003?

E.g.
Suppose if my startup page is login.aspx, and everytime if I want to
start with

http://localhost/test/login.aspx?CustomerId=1001

Thanks,
Biren.

Hi,

No idea if you can set a default query string in the startup page (I don't
thikn so)

But doing what you want is VERY simple, set the startup page to login.aspx
in the page_load do this:

if ( Page.querystrin g["customerid '} == null )
{
Response.Redire ct( "login.aspx?Cus tomerID=100" , true);
return;

}
It will load the same page with your default parameter

Right click on your project -> Properties -> Configuration Properties ->
Debugging -> Start Page -> add your querystring.

It didn't work as you specified. I had to specify "Command Line
Parameters" in that page.

But thanks anyways for atleast giving me the page where I could specify
these parameters.

Howdy, Simple question, but I can't figure out how to do it. I have a a page which is called initially with a querystring. After I get the querystring values, I don't need the querystring to appear in the url anymore. How can I get rid of it? A postback doesn't clear it, it just keeps tagging along. I tried Request.QueryString.Clear, but get "readonly" errors. I want to do this, because eventually I use server.transfer within this...

How can I get the Querystring passed to the Referring Page from its referrer? I don't want the querystring coming to my current page. I want the querystring that came to the referring page, so that I can check for the existance of a parameter value in that previous querystring.

Hi -- I'm developing an ASP.NET application in VS.NET and I want the startup page to read in some parameters from a querystring. But I can't figure out where to set the querystring. I thought it was in the Project Properties dialog under the Debugging tab. There's a dropdown box where you can set the start up page. But VS ignores the querystring I add to the page name in this combo box. I know this because the Request.QueryString...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
