I'm trying to find thorough documentation for creating graphs using
serverside Excel from ASP. Any book recommendations?
A well-documented COM wrapper would be nice if it allowed us to create
may different types of graph, e.g. Wind Rose (for wind direction),
thermometer, as well as standard pie, line, bar charts. I've found a few
examples of charting code on websites and at MS, but none of them
contain a thorough explanation, and our...

Hi,
Does anyone know how to export charts/graphs from EXCEl
into Powerpoint-Microsoft Charts though VBA code. I would
like to import the underlying data with the chart as well.
I know we can paste as an Excel object in power point
which links the Excel file to the power point, but this
increases the file size.
Microsoft Power point has a feature called Microsoft
charts that allows to create charts and graphs in

Does anyone know a way to import excel data very fast?
I have spreadsheet data that has to be processed, the spreadsheet has 256
columns and 20,000 rows of data. That's 5,120,000 cells.
The cells can contain any type of data, but the data has to be coverted to
Double arrays. Currently I read the data from the spreadsheed using OleDB
and put the data into datagrid which is not too bad - takes maybe a minute,
but when I move the data...

Hello,
I would like to know of a fast way to export data source data into an Excel
sheet.
I found a way from C# Corner(Query Tool to Excel using C# and .NET) which is
a neat little way of exporting dataset data to an excel using the Excel COM
object.
This works fine but the problem is its pretty darn slow when exporting large

I am using Access to create an Excel spreadsheets with graphs related
to rows on the sheet1 to the graph on sheet2. I am using the same data
but different subsets of the data to make different spreadsheets for
different groups. The spreadsheet formats are the same for each of the
different groups. So I am using a loop to requery the data for the
different groups and create a new spreadsheet for each group. The
three graphs on sheet 2...

Hello people. This is quick and easy I just can't figure out the correct syntax. Help appreciated.
I'm attempting to create an Excel macro that replaces cell contents on one sheet with a connecting formula to update it from another sheet. I am currently using very uneffective code, and it has worked, but I have recently encountered a few problems. More effective code would be much easier to manage.
Currently I am using the following:

Hi
I need some hints for the following problem.
We have some customer that has one Excel file composed of about 20
sheets and he wants to convert this file to a small C# application.
It's not that he does not want to use Excel at all, but there is data
that has to be entered inside the first sheet and from this data all
other sheets are calulated.
Now he wants us to write some app, where his customers are able to

I have a query (with calculated fields) in Access (2007) and the data changes depending on the dates and staff person selected. I need to produce a series of graphs based on the data in this query and it seems to me that Excel is far easier to create graphs than Access.
When I use the Get External Data feature of Excel and the dialog box with the tables and queries appears, the query I need is not listed. Is this because the query has...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
