I'm trying to set custom widths and headings for DataGrid columns, but
they keep displaying as defaults. I did configure the params via the
TableStyles collection -> ColumnStyles collection. MappingName
is set to the name of the DataTable.
My understanding is that the names should match or else the defaults
will be used. Though all the data is being displayed, it does look
like the column sizes and headers are set to defaults (Names =...

Hi,
In a running C# app with a datagrid control I select all rows in the
dataGrid using CTRL-A, I then paste into some other app like notepad or Word
but the column headings get left off.
Is there any way of including column headings when copying/pasting from a
running datagrid to notepad? At this stage it looks like I have to write my
own code but would rather not if someone knows how to do it.

I have a DataGrid web control which I've dynamically populated with
template columns to be used for bulk-editting. Generally, all of the
columns are textbox and/or dropdownlist child controls.
Currently everything is working. I can find the updated rows/columns
by parsing the posted data collection against the DataGrid DataSource.
However, when there is a large amount of DataGridItems (rows) the
update processing can take a while.

order of the columns (so they can be different than the column order of the
datatable). I also allow the user to click on a column header to sort the

understood why they said the style name had to be the same as the table
